Studying? What's That?

Urrgh.... Finals.... creeping up on me.... Must study. Must start to study. Aargh!

Ack, I'm so tired. And I haven't even been doing anything useful. Moo. At least I have clementines. ^_^ Well, we got our re-election forms in.... Doesn't look like there'll be any competition - easy peasy! Maybe we'll actually get something done on the dorm website during IAP. IAP.... *sighs* Wow, I'm going to be spending a whole month doing nothing but math. Joy. Didn't get a mentorship, so thus far, there's nothing to break the monotony. Well, the Anime Club wants to change the Independent Activities Period into the Intensive Anime Period, so that sounds promising... :D

LSC is showing The Fellowship of the Ring on Friday so everyone can rewatch it in preperation for The Two Towers. Since a ticket's only $3, it sounds like a good deal, but... it's shown in my math lecture hall - hard wooden seats! For three hours, no less! Heh, I still think I'll go. ^_^ Speaking of LOTR movies, Random Hall has a big billboard advertising the Two Towers right outside on top of the building next door to them. That must be pretty exciting... Why don't they stick something like that on top of our dorm?! Hahaha...

Hmm.... Bed at midnight? Does that sound feasible? (Yes.) Does it ever happen? (No.) *dies*

Back From the Dead, for a Little While at Least

Wow, the past week was really busy. I had yet another awful psych paper to write - thank goodness that's over! My, well, this looks like a nice quiet week ahead of me... the calm before the storm. Urgh, finals the week after this! I'm so scared. Must study titrations!!

My Saturday was probably the best one I've had recently. There was a dorm brunch in the morning with really good food (clementines!) and we got a lot of people to sign our candidacy petition - Amy, Janet and I have to re-run for dorm webmistresses. I just spent quite a while coloring in a picture of us - not much point to it though, since we seem to be running unopposed. Actually, I don't think that there's any competition for any office. I guess people don't have enough time... and that there's just so many offices to fill! Well, I'm doing my part. ^_^ Yaar, so anyway, after the brunch, Amy and I walked over to the Prudential Center to do a little (window) shopping. Amy got some really cute wooden fruit for her mother. They are really nice. I sure hope she likes them. At night, two sororities hosted a Free Skate - ice skating for free! So we went, and it was great! They served cheesecake and hot chocolate, and I got to ice skating for the first time in a really long time. I miss ice skating. Even though I'm not very good at it (not by a long shot!) I really enjoy it... Amy's never skated before; fortunately, she got some friends to help her out. I feel so ashamed - I couldn't show her at all - I don't even remember how I learned to skate, it was so long ago! Amy complains of being really sore today from falling down, and David keeps making fun of her. I think he needs to shut up - falling down does hurt! He was too late to get a pair of skates that fit, so he didn't go skating. He should have... then he wouldn't be so annoying today. :P Nah, he'd probably be whining very loudly to anyone who'd listen.

So after skating, Vivian and I went to the Toons concert. It was really good! Heh, they did a skit entitled 'The 8 Mile Fellowship' which featured Frodo having a rap-off against Sauron. It was really funny - Sauron was awesome. Frodo, on the other hand, was pathetic. So... evil triumphs!! ^^ After that, there was a party hosted for the McCormick frosh so I got to hang out with Janet, who's been sick for the past few days (and she sprained her ankle too!). Mrr, I hope she gets better soon, and stays healthy too!

The Last Mad Dash to... Finals?

Well, Thanksgiving break was really nice... Didn't get too much accomplished, but it was really nice to be home again. Didn't get to see all the people I wanted to, didn't get all the homework done that I wanted to, but I burned plenty of CDs! Whew, it's so nice to have space on my computer again. No more heavy downloading for a while! Heh, well, we'll see how it goes... ^_~

My family bought a Chirstmas tree today - I helped string up lights on it. Not too much decorating for me this year, I fear. Hrm, things are going to go a bit differently this year. I can't believe that Christmas is approaching so quickly. Great. Christmas shopping. Aargh. Time, time, I have no time for something like that! Rargh... *beats herself over the head with her physics book*

I can't believe it - there's only three more weeks until finals start. It's scary... The end of the semester is coming up really fast. I have to figure out what courses I'm going to take, what major I'm going to declare, dealing with the fact that I'll be on grades next semester, etc. Aah! Physics 2! This is not going to be fun at all... x_X Oy, well, I've got all four of my finals squashed into three days - the only good thing about it is that I can go home that much sooner. No fair for the people taking 3.091 - Concourse chem. They don't have a final. So evil!! Almost makes me wish I hadn't switched out of that class. Almost.

So, once more it's a Sunday night and I'm staring at the mound of work in front of me... Math p-set, fizzicks test, psychology paper, chem p-set. Loads of fun, oh yes. Gads, where do I start?
