Summer Went... Where?

Ah, my poor little website... I know that I haven't updated it in a month of a half. No worries though - I've been scanning in stuff, and once I get back to school and decent internet, I'll get back into my regular(ish) updating self. I don't know - I'm not inspired to do any work on it here. Probably because I have more alternatives here - at school, it's either working on homework or website stuff. ^_^; So school is starting up soon... Uhm, actually, I'm going to be one of the last people to arrive on campus - I don't get in until the day before Reg Day. -_-; That's because my family's going on vacation starting next week, and I don't get back for, er, well, a while at least. But that's okay, because I won't have to put up with campus food for a little while at least, and besides that, we'll be in sunny, gorgeous California! There's the usual visiting of relatives (in smoggy ol' L.A.) but we're also going to San Diego for a few days, which is cool because I haven't been there in years. I'm going to be able to get in a few dives with my dad, which will be excellent because I haven't been diving since last summer (in Hawaii ^^;). I hope I haven't forgotten everything I need to know.

Hah, so this school year will hopefully be more exciting than the last. Though I think I'm just kidding myself if I think I'm going to be any more productive this time around. o_o... Especially since I'm getting myself all involved in the anime club (club librarian, yo *shivershiver*). So, this semester I'm taking cool classes, eheh.... FUN things like 6.002 (Circuits and Electronics - the class that all Course VIers at MIT seem to hate). I have to get a lab kit for that class, and keep a lab notebook and stuff. It's going to be time-consuming. I'm also taking 6.042 (Mathematics for Computer Science). It sounds even more complicated than all the math I've already been through. It sounds rather proof-intensive as well, which does not make me happy. x_X Besides those two, I'm also taking 7.012 (Intro to Biology) finally. I feel so behind everyone else when it comes to the biology front. And here I am, wanting to minor in bio as well. This class better be pretty easy - as in, I can do the p-sets the night before like Intro Chem. :P Although getting an A instead of a B- would be good too. Aargh. How did I get to be so bad at school? Well, at least I've been doing well in my summer Java class. Well, last but certainly not least, I'll be taking 21F.501, which is Japanese I! Now that is exciting. I hope it's good - I've been meaning to learn Japanese for quite some time now - my Mom's been teaching a Japanese class over at our dojo for the summer, and I've looked at her class notes and stuff, but that's about it for formal study. Ah well, I know my hiragana, so that's something. Maybe I can get all the katakana down before the summer's over... That would make life a bit easier, I'm sure. ^_^
