O Canada...

Just a quick note that we're off to Canada today. We're going to Nova Scotia, and it should be fun. Alissa had her birthday party on Wednesday and I got her a DDR pad - we hooked everything up to the TV and the sound system and it really rocked. It's nice to be able to hear the bass on all the songs. ^_^ Almost managed to beat Healing Vision (Angelic Mix) on Standard... Almost, but not quite. Someday I will be able to manage it. :E

Alissa also got a nice new Wacom tablet, so I get to adopt her old one. It's not fantastic, but since I don't have much spare time, I'm sure it'll suit my needs. I'm rather excited by it, actually. ^^ My family gave me presents too - nice belated birthday party. Mom 'n Dad gave me Borders gift cards, which are excellent. Kelsey got me some cute new earrings. Alissa got me a poster with four (count 'em, four!) pictures of Legolas on it. She called it the "Girls of Middle Earth" poster. XD

I'm glad that I'm finally going to be able to work on my cross-stitching. It's been years. I like long car trips. The trip to Canada is 10+ hours. Thank goodness we're not doing it all in one day. Hm, we should have left already. Off to a late start as usual. Oh well, nothing else to mention besides the fact that I loaded Myst III: Exile onto my laptop, and it is totally amazing. I love this series of games so much. Heh, I was inspired because I got ahold of the Exile and Riven soundtracks the other day. They are quite excellent. Heh, well, I guess I ought to run. I'll be certain to write about Canada when we get back, but it's going to be about ten days before that happens. Maybe I'll have some new pictures drawn by then. *smiles and waves*
