Heh heh... Who'd have thought? I've totally gotten dragged into the baseball craze and watching the Red Sox play is totally awesome. I think I've been totally missing out, up until now. I watched game 7 the other night, against the Yankees, and it was great. I think all the Yankees fans were really confused. XD And now... World Series! It's gonna be great. Tonight's game was totally stressful - the Sox had a great lead to start, but the Cardinals kept catching up - twice, in fact! There was a lot of screaming done in Sarah's kitchen. People would fumble the ball... Or get hit. Hah, it was bad. But the Sox won, 11-9. The coolest part is the fact that all this was going on just across the river from us. We ran up to the penthouse at one point to see if we could hear anything, but we could only see the stadium lights. Totally awesome.
Vikki's in Maine for the weekend, so Sarah and I did our Algorithms p-set together. We're nearly done too. :D Took us forever on the second problem, but that's because there was no information in the book, and also because we were watching the game at the same time. Heh. We also ordered Beauty's pizza for the first time this year, and it was fantastic as ever. Especially because we tried ordering "fresh" toppings for the first time. XD Ohhhhhh my, that's a long story, and it's sad but hilarious.
Last night, after anime club, we got together to play DDR in the east penthouse. Brett brought his pad and PS2, and I brought mine along, and we played DDR until 4am with Amy, Sarah, and Janet. It was a lot of fun, although it'd be even better if I had the dual-pad connector, and a way to hook my laptop up to the TV, since Brett only has DDR Max, whereas I have about 300 songs on my setup. :P 'Tis a project we'll leave to next time, I guess. Amy's totally awesome at DDR, Janet isn't bad, and totally improved over the course of the evening, as did Sarah, who is surprisingly good too. Brett, of course, is frighteningly good. And I think I totally sucked. Mostly because I don't think I'm used to the scoring on the official game - I think DWI is a lot more lenient as far as scoring goes. Plus, while there are several good songs on Max (Era, HVAM, AM3P... yeah, I like the wordless songs), most of my ultra-favorite songs weren't on there (So Deep, Night in Motion, A, Tsugaru, ahaha, more wordless songs). Still, it was great. And I'm glad that Brett finally knows that I don't utterly hate him or anything. Sheesh, I'm such an awful person. I need to learn how to talk to people. Or something.
